The Emergy Society
Welcome to the Emergy Society Web Site!

We are a society of 105 people with international
membership dedicated to the advancement of
research on emergy and transformity carried out
within the Framework of Energy Systems Theory.

Our goal is to make the Emergy Society a vehicle for
improving the quantity and quality of emergy
research throughout the world.

We would like our members to contribute ideas and
content for features that our web site can support
and that will be most useful to advance emergy
research. To contribute ideas please go to the
Information Exchange page listed on the navigation
bar and fill out the contact us form given there or
simply send an email to admin@isaer.org.

Member and other can volunteer to contribute
feature articles on topics of current interest to the
emergy research community to be posted on the
ISAER web site. These articles can focus on a recent
publication or research interest of the author, but
they should relate to a larger problem faced by the
emergy research community and society as a whole.

ISAER through its Standards Committee is compiling
and verifying emergy per unit values,
e.g.,
transformities, specific emergies, etc by creating a
list that will include the supporting calculations.
Once compiled this document will serve as a master
list for review and vetting.
